ReadOregon Tuition Assistance

READ OREGON PROGRAM APPLICATION
Please fill out the ReadOregon Program Application to enter your information in the ReadOregon project database (for use only by the ReadOregon project office and the campus you select as home institution). You do not need to fill out a new application unless key information changes (e.g., new address, new email, new phone number, new teaching position).

READ OREGON TUITION
Tuition for READ courses beginning fall 2007 is $300 per credit with no additional fees regardless of campus.

READ courses are excluded from "staff-rate vouchers" or "co-pay privileges" awarded to cooperating teachers that may be available from school districts that provide practicum opportunities to preservice teachers from the public universities.

READ OREGON TUITION ASSISTANCE
IMPORTANT: ReadOregon may not be able to offer partial tuition assistance for the 2007-08 school year. Previous funding expires at the end of summer, and we have no guarantee as yet (August 1, 2007) that we will be awarded funding for the 2007-08 school year. If you haven't been receiving ReadOregon notices, be sure to update your email address by submitting a corrected ReadOregon application so that you will receive notification of tuition assistance availability.

TUITION ASSISTANCE APPLICATION
Teachers must submit an online TUITION ASSISTANCE APPLICATION to request partial reimbursement. The deadline for submitting an application for summer 2007 courses is August 31, 2007. Reimbursement is by mailed check upon successful completion of course(s).

COURSE REGISTRATION
Students register directly with the university offering the course. Courses will be open for enrollment until filled (or until the term begins). Registration instructions for the five participating universities are available on the Current Courses page.

HOME INSTITUTION
After learning as much as you can from this website (e.g., Frequently Asked Questions, program descriptions, etc.), contact the ReadOregon academic advisor at your chosen "home" university for any remaining academic questions.

ReadOregon is a consortium of five Colleges/Schools of Education of the Oregon University System
in cooperation with OUS Departments of Distance and Continuing Education.
The ReadOregon programs were developed with grant funds from the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE), U.S. Dept. of Education
