Dear ReadOregon Student,

Thank you for your interest in taking a ReadOregon course through Oregon State University. Because the ReadOregon program has negotiated special (lower) pricing for your tuition, you will need to follow a somewhat unique process to register for this course and to make sure your billing is appropriate, as explained below.

OSU ADMISSION STATUS, PRIOR TO REGISTRATION
If you are not currently an active student with OSU, you need to complete "non-degree" admission to create a student record for you prior to course registration. This admission application and further information is located on the Admissions website. There is a non-refundable application fee of $25, which is billed to your student account. You will receive an email within 24-48 hours, confirming your admission status. This email will have your OSU ID, which you will need to register for your course. If you have taken courses with OSU in the current academic year you will be eligible to register right away using Student Online Services.

COURSE REGISTRATION
You will register for the course using OSU's Student Online Services. Please refer to our complete registration instructions.

BILLING
Once you are registered for the course you will be charged at the regular tuition price, which will probably show on your initial billing statement. Your ReadOregon credit will be applied to your student account by the second billing cycle. If you do not see the changes on the second billing statement, please notify OSU Extended Campus to facilitate the change (800-667-1465 or ecampus@oregonstate.edu).
